Property Technician in Distribution Network

Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300-mile long district heating network is the hub for the community benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our bioenergy plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than the emissions from Stockholm's road traffic during the same period.

As a property technician in the distribution network, you will be a key person in ensuring that our facilities operate optimally – economically, environmentally, and with the highest safety. You will primarily work in tunnel environments and ensure that everything is in top condition for safe and efficient operation.

In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our technical environments are well-maintained and accessible. This means you will perform rounds and functional checks, ensure that cleaning and material replenishment occur, and manage flushing of drainage and hard surfaces. You will lubricate hatches, clear brush and leaves to ensure access, and take care of sanitary waste management and hygiene solutions. Additionally, you will install drip protection and insulation where needed and perform other maintenance actions. An important part of your work is to report deviations and contribute to continuously improving our routines. This role is a permanent position based in Hammarbyverket.

Special Requirements

To work in this role, a security clearance is required. You must also be prepared to get vaccinated to access certain areas related to sewage pipes.

Requirements

• High school education, with a relevant focus for the role
• Good communication skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship
• Driving license B
